While I was looking into buying some new poker chips to replace my old ones, I noticed that some of them can be a bit pricey. When I mentioned this to a friend and fellow card player, he suggested that I look into a poker chip set. He told me how not only could I get the chips I wanted for much less of a price, but also get more than just the chips. I looked around at a few sets and I was amazed at the options. Now not only do I have my replacement chips, but I also have a chip case and extra playing cards and dice. Everyone I’ve ever played cards with has had the same experience. Buying a new deck of cards only for them to bend, crease, rip and get dirty. Of course all these people have been using regular paper playing cards, and I always suggest that they upgrade their playing cards. Usually I get the same confused looks, that is until I tell them about plastic playing cards. Generally by the time I’ve finished explaining all the perks of plastic playing cards, they have made up their mind and are asking me where they can get some.

One of my favorite casino games, and card games in general, is Blackjack. It was one of the very first card games I ever learned, back when I simply knew it as “21″. It is a very simple and fun card game to play, and also can be very easy to win. Of course like any casino game it’s also very easy to lose, but the odds of winning or losing are evened out a bit more. Plenty of people love playing poker, and some of those people you play with may be very experienced in the art of bluffing. Bluffing is one of the most exciting parts of playing poker. Finding the telltale signs of bluffing are crucial, to know when your opponent is bluffing and knowing how to disguise when you’re bluffing. When watching for an opponent’s bluff, you should always try to read them. This can be anything from the way a player places their chips to simply the way they’re sitting. Other signs could be an eye twitch, a lip movement or the player holding their breath. Another big part of learning others’ bluffs are watching how they bet before and after the flop. Like I said, bluffing and reading bluffs can take a lot of practice, but once you master it you will only love the game more.

Just bought a large amount of poker chips but have no where to keep them? I ran into the same problem, but then I bought myself a high capacity acrylic carrier and all my problems were solved. When buying poker chips you should also consider a nice poker chip case to go along with them so when you are done with your poker chips you can store them away to make sure you don’t lose any. There are so many different types of poker chip cases but the main ones that I notice are the acrylic, aluminum and wood poker chip cases.
