Automatic Card Shufflers

Before you play poker or any kind of card game you always shuffle the cards to get them in a random order. There are many techniques you can use to shuffle like the Riffle, Plugging, or Fanning. I am one of those people that never could shuffle so I prefer not to be the dealer. But you need not fear anymore they now have shufflers that can do all the work for you, a shuffler has helped me out a lot.

There are many different card shufflers to choose from that can shuffle up to 8 decks of cards. The only downside I would say to shufflers is that the cards don’t get as mixed up and you have to put the cards through several times to get them as mixed as they would if you were to shuffle by hand, that is why you won’t typically see low end shufflers in casinos because dealers can waste time like that. Shufflers are pretty portable too they either use batteries or plug into an outlet and sometimes both so you can take them anywhere your poker game decides to go.

Obviously if you have a shuffler then you are going to need something to shuffle. Cards are a vital part of playing poker and there are many different types. Most cards come in either poker or bridge size, the difference between the two is that poker size is a bit wider than bridge size. I suggest getting a deck of plastic playing cards because they will last much longer than paper cards even after shuffling them multiple times they will look brand new. Paper playing cards won’t make it to many times after shuffling and probably won’t last more than a couple of games depending on how rough you are on them but plastic playing cards keep their quality even after long and serious games of poker. You will be ready for your poker game now that you have your automatic shuffler or if you learned some shuffling techniques and once you have decided on a deck of cards you are good to go.
